Student Music Mediation Competition

You are a student (college and university level) or a postdoctoral fellow?
You are passionate about new music and share your enthusiasm on social media?
You like recording and editing videos?

We invite you to submit a 3 to 5 minutes video clip (in French or English) on a musical work which will be presented at the 11th Edition (2023) of the Montreal/New Musics Festival (MNM). Your video must be made for YouTube with your favorite editing application.

What is it?

The Société de musique contemporaine du Québec, the Canada Research Chair in Opera Creation and the SQRM invite students (college and university level) and postdoctoral fellows to submit, in French or English, a video clip of three (3) to five (5) minutes maximum on a work in the MNM 2023 festival program. Clip must respect the YouTube encoding parameters (16:9 - 1080p: 1920 x 1080).
