Miguel Ituarte

Né en Biscaye, Miguel Ituarte a étudié aux Conservatoires de Bilbao, Madrid et Amsterdam, y compris une formation spéciale au clavecin et à l'orgue ibérique. Il a donné des concerts dans de nombreux pays européens et s'est produit avec des orchestres tels que le Concertgebouw Chamber d'Amsterdam, le Gulbenkian de Lisbonne et bien d'autres en Espagne et en Amérique du Sud. En janvier 2000, il ouvre le premier programme des Grands Pianistes à l'Auditorium de Barcelone avec "Iberia" d'Isaac Albeniz. Il a joué avec les quatuors Takacs et Ortys, l'Ensemble Quantum et l'accordéoniste Iñaki Alberdi. Il travaille actuellement avec la soprano Cecilia Lavilla Berganza. Miguel Ituarteest professeur de piano à Musikene.

 

Born in Bizkaia. He studied at the Conservatories of Bilbao, Madrid and Amsterdam, including special training at the harpsichord and the Iberian organ. He has given concerts in many European countries and has performed with orchestras such as Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw Chamber, the Lisbon Gulbenkian and many others in Spain and South America. In January 2000 he opened the first Great Pianists programme at Barcelona Auditorium with Isaac Albeniz’s “Iberia”.  He has performed with the Takacs and Ortys quartets, the Quantum Ensemble and accordionist Iñaki Alberdi. He currently works with the soprano Cecilia Lavilla Berganza. He is piano teacher at Musikene.
